Today consumer society has become very disposable and people are slowly starting to recognize it. Most products are built for convenience sake and company profits. We create these products to simply throw them away. This work explores this idea by showing these disposable objects against colorful backgrounds, which draws my viewer in closer to get intimate with the objects they are so used to seeing glamorized over and over again on billboards and commercials. By making these objects look less appealing, they comment on the wasteful, useless qualities these products really have.
